Other Plans!!! Are you content with your job or career?

Other Plans!!!
Are you content with your job or career?

I don't know about you but I want more. To be honest for some individuals, where they are right now is just as great as it gets for them; and that's okay if one finds contentment in that job and or career. Most of my inspiration for my writing comes from my personal experience, thoughts and feelings. One thing I've learned about inspiration, its all around you; whether its in a person, place or thing,  you just have to be open to the possibility.

I will be the first to admit, "I am not content with my job." I currently been working as a Nursing Assistant in a hospital for almost two years now; and don't get me wrong I feel valuable and honored to be apart of something great and impactful. I love helping people and I enjoy providing my patients with the care they need; to feel comfortable and have a positive healing process. One thing that is clear to me, I truly know in my heart that this is not where God wants me to be. I definitely believe he has a better plan, specifically for my life purpose; and the many things I am called to do in life.

If you too struggle with a job you don't feel content with, this message is for you too. The more out of place he or she feels, the eager ones quest for contentment becomes. Iyanla Vanzant once said, "The passion represents those things that you pursue for the sheer joy of it - those things that you do that make you feel alive and meaningful, valuable and worthy."

We all deserve a passion that allows us to express who we are; that makes us feel alive and free to be who we choose to be. I say if you are happy where you are, then be happy; and if you know its time for a change, then take that chance. Choosing a career can sometimes be difficult, but when you finally figure it out; you experience that desire of fulfillment. If you don't get it right the first time, its not the end of the world; well not just yet lol. Anything that God places on your heart is worth pursuing, but you never know if you don't try. Always remember, your now is temporary until you are ready for your permanent. Appreciate what you have and stay humble, until better opportunities present themselves to you.

With love, Kishari
