Lessons I am Learning in my 20's
As we are growing within ourselves. Some of us are blessed enough to have loving parent's, to get us through childhood and has helped us transition into adulthood. You go out into the world with perspective from your parents and yourself. As you go through life there are some things you have to learn on your own. Thing that no parent can teach you and must experience for yourself. Your life is your responsibility and it is up to you to make something great of it. What better way to start learning lessons, than in your 20's. It is the start of your highest and lowest moments.
We will succeed and fail; we will also make mistakes. The good part about life is that even though we make mistakes, we also get a chance to make it right with God first and ourselves.
"Everybody has problems and everybody has bad times. Do we sacrifice the good times because of them? -Unknown
We must certainly do not! We continue to move forward and do our best and give our best self to the world just as we are. Here is just a few things I have learned and still learning in my 20's.
1. Do your best Now!!!
I cant express the importance of this statement enough. To be honest I wish I could of done some things differently in my life; but hey everything happens for a reason. I have learned that the Journey may have started off rocky but that doesn't mean it has to continue on that path. We have the opportunity yo do your best right now, without God holding it against us. How amazing is that! As my mom would say, Embrace the new, Enjoy the journey and Trust the process.
2. Do the things that matter to you.
It seemed like in my early 20's I wanted to do and have the things everyone else had; but now I want to do and have the things Kishari wants. You have to do the things that matter to you when it comes to your future, career, happiness, friendships, love life, family etc... If it matters to you do it! live for yourself and not for the opinions of others.
3. Appreciating the fact that I don't have all the answers.
If you had all the answers to life how will you enjoy it? How will you learn? How will you grow? You have to relax and allow life to flow naturally, trust me I know! When you try to have total control over your life, it will get out of control. You have to know and understand some things are just not within your control. Stop Over thinking!
4. Embracing my Singleness.
I've been single for awhile and to be honest I don't give the fact that I'm still single too much energy anymore. I just take this time being single to better myself as a woman; and to do the things that matter to me. When I run into the right one, at the right time in both of our lives ;will be the time. Until then I am in no rush.
5. Searching for Clarity.
6. Becoming self-sufficient.
7. Allowing myself to feel in the moment.
8. Embracing second chances from God.
9. Taking losses and viewing them as blessings.
10. Self Love Journey.
11. Rushing the process before it's time.
12. Becoming a Go Getter.
13. Being patient with myself.
14. Finding your Perspective on life.
15. Living your life through the circumstances.
16. Staying Positive in a negative situation.
17. Forgiving yourself and others.
18. Feeling blessed to have a Purpose.
19. Humbling myself.
