Embracing Change

Embracing Change

While some are trilled about the experience of change, there are others who are fearful of the idea. I don't expect anyone to be on the level of change I am mentally. I can only hope they choose to experience change in a way that best suits them. The very thing that makes one fearful of change, is the thought things will be different from that point on. The real question one may ask is, how do you know if change is a good or bad thing? That's the things we don't know, all we can do is try and trust that the process won't let us down. When we invite change into our lives we are hoping to better ourselves, circumstances, encounters etc... Sometimes certain changes we will make, will mean we will have to leave certain people, places and things behind us; That are not willing to go where you are headed. We all have room to grow in every aspect of our lives and it won't happen over night.

Change is inevitable! It will happen whether we choose to leave those people or things in the past or not. People change and so do our circumstances. We cannot receive what God has for us if our thoughts and actions are stagnant. I understand how personal this topic may be for some people. The process is never easy. The thought of giving up your old ways of thinking and being; for a new ways of thinking and being. Although it may be a scary sight, it is necessary for yourself and your loved ones. I have been there and lived in a stagnant place in my life for a long time before. I wasn't growing as a person, with some of the people around me; or in opportunities. I was just there, going through life with no clear purpose. I was existing on my own terms and not truly living for myself.

Today it feel good to have a purpose and to share one of my life purposes in life with my family, friends, and even ordinary people. You just have to put yourself out there and open yourself up to change. If you find yourself at a stand still, just keep trying. Change has a beautiful and sometimes peculiar way of presenting itself to you in a moment of need. I am no where near perfect, but I am at peace with knowing change exist, only if I am willing to do the work.
