In My Feelings

Some days we wake up feeling great and ready to face the world; and we have those other days ,where we just don't know how to feel. The feeling is very peculiar and it just feels like one of those days. You cant quite figure out why you are feeling this way or better yet how you've come to this point. So you ask yourself, "What is wrong with me? Why do I have this sad feeling within myself and this entire day. Sometimes we know why and sometimes we have no idea. We can not allow negativity to take us off our course. When I touch on certain subjects, I write from first hand experience. I'm sure anyone who reads this can attest to this state of mind. When I'm just having one of those days and in my feelings, I take a step back and reflect on my feelings; so that I can figure out how I got here. You have an obligation to yourself, to deal with your feelings. 

When it comes to feelings, they can stem from anywhere. The past tries to remind us of the feelings that once was, but we have to remind ourselves that it is behind us and take back our joy. The future has a way of telling us, this is what we can have, but what if this and that happens. See with me, I am very hopeful for the future. I am careful not to get too ahead of myself and of time, because that's where you place too many expectations on time. We all know if what we expect does not live up to its name, we will be disappointed. At times we have to keep in mind, things don't always turn out the way we want them to, but the way they are meant to. Think about whats true and what is,and then you can take it from there. 

We feel what we feel at that moment in time. That's a feeling no one can take from you, but what you decide to do with those feelings are up to you. Alex Elle once said, "My Joy is in my hands." All I could think about is that it most certainly is. You can choose to dwell on those feelings or you can release them back into the past. Everyday we have a choice to do things are way not matter what happens in the process. Always remember, the energy we choose to put out into the universe, is the same energy that we will receive in return.
